Resham Gellatly and Zach Marks of Chai Wallahs of India
In 2010 Resham Gellatly and Zach Marks came to India to teach English. Unbeknownst to them they would leave a year later with a love for each other and a strong passion for India’s chai (tea) culture. They have recently returned to further study this ever-present brew that flows along the streets of India and fuels the daily activities of hundreds of millions.

Their blog, the Chai Wallahs of India, tells the stories of tea sellers in all regions of India. And it is through this lens they reveal the various layers of Indian society.

Resham, Zach and I recently sat in a park in central Mumbai, where we sipped our milky spiced tea and discussed prostitutes, Bollywood and camel milk chai as we recorded this video interview.
