Paris Times Eight

Deirdre Kelly is a well known features writer for the Globe and Mail, having covered such beats as Fashion and Dance. Her recent book Paris Times Eight: Finding Myself in the City of Lights is both a critical success and a Canadian bestseller. Paris Times Eight chronicles Kelly’s relationship with the city over eight visits from young adulthood to the near present. No discussion of Paris is possible without mentioning the food, and I sat down with Kelly recently, for the video below, to ask her about the meals she’s had in Paris, including an infamous one with Rudolph Nureyev. Click here to see a listing of Kelly’s upcoming Toronto appearances and readings.
