Winemaker Shiraz Mottiar at home in his barrel cellar at Malivoire… and he’s looking pretty happy about the 2016 vintage thus far.

Earlier this week Malcolm and I journeyed to Niagara via a short little flight straight across Lake Ontario courtesy of Greater Toronto Airways. Once back on solid ground we were whisked up to the Beamsville Bench to see our friends at Malivoire, where Winemaker Shiraz Mottiar led us through an exhaustive tank and barrel tour of what’s been happening with the 2016 vintage. As Shiraz explains in our video below, things are looking pretty damn good.
