What do you enjoy doing most with a chilled glass of Ladybug Rosé in hand? We’ve just introduced the newest 2011 vintage of our traditional wine of spring, and visitors to our wine shop were offered a preview. One commented that sipping Ladybug is her number one pastime while car washing. Tell us yours – it might make an interesting item for a future newsletter.

Here’s even more lustre for your glass: you’ve made Ladybug the number one selling rosé in Ontario. That makes you number one with us, and in gratitude we’ll lower the price to $13.95 a bottle at our wine shop and at LCBO Vintages stores now through April 28th. That’s $2 below usual price. Never has there been a better time to stock up! Order your case of Ladybug for delivery today.

A BUZZ IN THE AIR
We’ll try to keep it to a minimum but you might hear the sound of a sander or power drill when you drop into our wine shop over the next few days. We’re opening up a little more space for Tammy’s team in anticipation of a bustling summer. You’ll see the results soon.

EASTER WEEKEND HOURS
Our wine shop and business office will be closed on Good Friday, April 6th and Easter Sunday, April 8th. The wine shop will be open Saturday, April 7th from 11a.m. to 5 p.m. Normal hours of operation will resume on Monday, April 9th.

TAG TEAM EVENT FOR A LUCKY FEW
Get in on this if you can: Saturday April 21st, Malivoire Winemaker Shiraz Mottiar and his Good Earth Colleague Andréa Glass co-host “The Dynamic Duo Winemakers’ Dinner” at The Good Earth Food and Wine Co. Some of the best bottles from both wineries will be served alongside four courses from Good Earth Chef Michael Pasto.

Your entry to an intimate coming together of great minds, foods and wines will cost only $75 a seat, but only 34 seats are available. Click here to reserve your seat now with The Good Earth. “Bat-time” for the Dynamic Duo is 7:00 p.m. sharp.

GET FRESH
Malivoire will be among the Twenty Valley area wineries welcoming visitors to this spring’s Get Fresh passport event. A $35.00 passport entitles you to choose from two-dozen wineries hosting food and wine pairings from local chefs on either of two weekends, April 28 – 29, or May 5 – 6. Executive Chef Jan-Willem Stulp of Grand Oak Culinary Market has prepared something delightful just for visitors to Malivoire.

Joining the Malivoire cast for the Get Fresh weekends will be the famous Cheesy Guys. Ensconced in their signature mobile shop, Kristine and Rick will have cheeses for any wine you desire. Their grilled cheese sandwiches, custom-made on the spot, are legendary.
