PictureRoche de Bellene Les Charrons Meursault 2009
—VINTAGES#: 541235   |   750 mL bottle
92 Points Winealign.com Michael Godel
This plot of land was used years ago to grow trees for the purpose of making carts (charrette in French), hence the vineyard is named ‘Les Charrons.’ The wine is maturing nicely, with lovely notions of buttercream, hayloft, citrus zest, fresh and dried pineapple and applesauce. It’s robust and flavourful with plenty of bright acidity and an apple cider note on the finish. Savour through 2022 with grilled pork or roast game hen in a creamy sauce. (Vintages panel, Feb. 2018)
“Meursault. Meursault. The first is really leesy, so much barrel and the lemon is off the charts. Charron’s Villages vineyard….A second taste is really quite different. Now flinty, especially for Meursault, the citrus is more compressed than it has been, and the strokes are more than just a stranger, but almost an equal partner to the curd and the cream. Barrel notes are very much a part of the mix and I suspect they will always. Drink 2018-2021.” Tasted March 2018 Michael Godel
PictureWoodside Park Pinot Noir, Adelaide Hills – Australia 2016  – $21.95
—VINTAGES#: 478289   |   750 mL bottle
Grown in the cool-climate Adelaide Hills, this Pinot is wild-fermented in French oak. It offers notions of fresh cherry, raspberry, strawberry, rosehip and baking spices. There’s nice structure here, and good length. Impressive value. (Vintages panel, Sept. 2016)
A rush of the juiciest Adelaide Hills pinot noir red fruit plays from the Woodside Park, a wine of breeze and potentially, so many memories. There is an early note of understanding, like a riff that reminds of childhood and in a way how wine knows how it will come to eventually be, even when its still so young. It’s this rustic, old world sensibility, with dried fruit, leathery to cedar forest feelings and a rustic cure. Drink 2017-2020. Tasted August 2017. Winealign.com
PictureA to Z Pinot Gris, AVA Oregon 2016
—VINTAGES#: 258145   |   750 mL bottle
90 Points Wine Enthusiast
Sometimes less is more, and sometimes more is more, as in this 68,000-case offering from A to Z. It’s a leesy, pretty, highly gulpable wine, loaded with apple, pear and melon fruit. Hints of cucumber and stone add freshness to the lingering aftertaste. Best Buy. Score – 90. (Paul Gregutt, Wine Enthusiast, Dec. 1, 2017)
PictureMonterra Fleurieu Peninsula Nero D’Avola 2016
—VINTAGES#: 534743   |   750 mL bottle
93 points Winereviewonline.com
Nero D’Avola is finding new homes outside of Italy, and this unexpected locale shows itself suitable, showing a light bodied, full flavored expression that delights with red and blue fruit, soft spice and mild pepper. The blossoming finish is fully integrated and lingers long. You can expect to see more of this grape in marine influenced climates worldwide thanks to this bottling. A Platinum Award winner at the 2017 San Diego Challenge International Wine & Spirits Competition. Score – 93. (Rich Cook, winereviewonline.com, April 11, 2017)
PictureChâteau Maris Les Planels Livinière Minervois 2015
92-94 Points RP – $27

VINTAGES#: 544296   |   750 mL bottle
A blend of Syrah, Grenache and Carignan, the 2015 Minervois La Liviniere Les Planels sports a deep purple color to go with killer notes of sautéed black cherries, black currants, licorice, pepper and cured meats. Rich, full-bodied, yet elegant and seamless, with an awesome texture, this wine is a hedonistic dream to buy by the case. I’m not sure how it will age, but it will certainly knock your socks off over the coming 4-5 years at a minimum! Score – 92-94. (Jeb Dunnuck, robertparker.com, April 28, 2017)
PictureChâteau Maris Les Amandiers Livinière Minervois Syrah 2015
95-97 Points RP – $93
VINTAGES#: 544411   |   750 mL bottle
Consistently my favorite wine from this estate, the 166 case 2015 Minervois la Liviniere les Amandiers looks to be another sensational Syrah that should rank up with the crème de la crème of the vintage. Inky purple in color, with a killer nose of black currants, white flowers, wet rocks and licorice, it has a weightless, seamless and elegant texture that carries a huge amount of fruit and texture, while never seeming heavy or cumbersome. Slightly more fresh and lively than the Dynamic cuvee, which has another level of richness, I suspect this will surpass the 2007 as the best vintage of this cuvee to date. Bravo to the team at Maris! Score – 95-97. (Jeb Dunnuck, robertparker.com, April 28, 2017)
PictureChateau Maris Dynamic Livinière Minervois Syrah 2015
94-96 Points RP – $128
VINTAGES#: 544429   |   750 mL bottle
Made in tiny quantities and from 100% Syrah aged all in barrel, the inky colored 2015 Minervois-La Livinière Dynamic offers up a huge nose of smoked black fruits, melted licorice, black currants and aged beef to go with a rich, unctuous, massively rich style on the palate. Despite the richness level here, it never comes across as heavy and stays lively and fresh. This is a huge, rich, unctuous beauty that lovers of Syrah should not miss! There’s just 160 cases made. Score – 94-96. (Jeb Dunnuck, robertparker.com, April 28, 2017)

Domaine du Coulet Billes Noires Cornas 2012
—VINTAGES#: 109165   |   750 mL bottle
96 Points Robert Parker
Coming from the upper part of Cornas and seeing 24 months in 400-500 Liter barrels (none new), the 2012 Cornas Domaine du Coulet Billes Noires is an incredible effort that’s up with the crème de la crème of the vintage. Its inky purple color is followed by an awesome bouquet of cassis, bacon fat, olive, peppered meat and iron, with additional minerality coming through with air. Classic in every way, with full-bodied richness, stunning purity and integrated acidity, it’s a big, brooding and concentrated effort that’s reasonably approachable now due to its fruit and texture, yet won’t hit prime time until 6-7 years after the vintage and will have two decades of longevity. Drink date: 2020-2040. Score – 96. (Jeb Dunnuck, robertparker.com, Dec. 29, 2014)
PictureTrisaetum Coast Range Estate Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley 2014
—VINTAGES#: 546374   |   750 mL bottle
94 Points Wine Enthusiast
The 2014 Pinot Noir Coast Range was picked at [three] tons per acre in dry and warm conditions between 16 September and 6 October, and sees 16 months in barrel. It has a very composed bouquet with very well-integrated new oak, lifting the crushed strawberry, redcurrant and oyster shell aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with a little more sappiness than the 2014 Wichmann Dundee Estate, good body and depth with a gentle grip on the finish that shows as much black fruit as red. Give this 12-18 months in bottle before broaching. Score – 92. (Neal Martin, robertparker.com, June 29, 2016 )
PictureMonterra Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir 2015 – $19.95
—VINTAGES#: 522094   |   750 mL bottle
90 Points Winealign.com
The cool-climate Adelaide Hills is one of Australia’s best regions for growing Pinot Noir. This wine has a nice earthy-and-floral nose and a palate showing spice, red fruit and a touch of olive. Nice intensity and balance. Serious value. Pour with beef-and-mushroom stew and beetroot salad. (Vintages panel, April 2017)
Our estate vineyards are located on Monterra Road, at the southern end of the cooler Adelaide Hills, high above the outskirts of McLaren Vale. In contrast, the Fleurieu Peninsula vineyards enjoy a milder, maritime climate whilst the Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale fruit is sourced from vineyards planted in the warmth of ancient soils in the heart of the valley floors.
PictureTrisaetum Pinot Noir, Ribbon Ridge Willammette Valley 2014 –  $70
—VINTAGES#: 534826   |   750 mL bottle
94 Points Wine Enthusiast
Once again this vineyard delivers irresistibly bright refined flavors of raspberry and cherry fruit – primary, concentrated and immaculately fresh. There’s a touch of mocha from the new barrels, and impressive length. As with all of Trisaetum’s single vineyard Pinots, this is built for cellaring, and should drink best after another couple of years in bottle. Drink 2018-2028, perhaps beyond. Cellar Selection. Score – 94. (Paul Gregutt, Wine Enthusiast, Dec. 1, 2016)
