Park Crawl Toronto

On Sunday, September 29th, come for a tasty tour at the David Suzuki Foundation’s first-ever Homegrown Park Crawl! Enjoy delicious food and great music as we crawl —by foot, bike and canoe — between four city parks along Toronto’s former Garrison Creek corridor.

Join 18 food vendors, 12 community groups, 4 parks, 3 musical parades, 3 canoe gardens, 1 teeter totter and 1 David Suzuki lawn gnome in celebration of the first year of the Homegrown National Park Project.

PARK CRAWL SCHEDULE:

11:00am – Join us in Christie Pits Park to kick off the crawl
1:00pm – Crawl to Bickford Park
2:00pm – Parade to Fred Hamilton Park
3:00pm – Final parade to Trinity Bellwoods Park

Each of the four parks will host food booths, entertainment and eco-activities. Participants will be led from one park to the next by parade marshals and musical acts — including Lemon Bucket Orkestra, Choir!Choir!Choir! and Local 164.
