Comprising of just 2% of our 60-acre estate, our Stone Eagle Proprietary Red is the ultimate selection of our portfolio’s complex and poised age-worthy red wines from this vintage. A traditional blend of 66% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot and 18% Cabernet Franc, Stone Eagle quietly rested in the best French oak barrels for some 29 months and followed with 2 additional years in bottle.

The wine greets with a dense almost black opaque core. Dramatic aromas of black and blue fruits, cardamom, oak spice and a rich, balsamic tone.

The palate is equally rewarded with powerful but precisely tuned intensity and structure. A heavyweight for sure softened by cashmere tannins and a long, lingering finish with returning spicy accents.

Additional cellar aging well into the next decade will only further reward.
