Two Sisters Vineyards releases their 2016 Barrel Fermented in time for Canada Day 150.

The anticipated release of our coveted barrel-fermented 2016 Chardonnay Beamsville Bench VQA has arrived .. in time for Canada Day 150!

This limited edition beauty was sourced exclusively for Two Sisters from Canada’s oldest Chardonnay vineyard. Sited on the limestone-rich Beamsville Bench, the 1959 Lenko Vineyard enjoyed a spectacular dry, warm vintage. This presented Winemaker Adam Pearce with the opportunity to craft a wine that checks off the characteristic of what an unabashedly classic cool climate Ontario Chardonnay is all about.

A textured, elegant expression of Chardonnay, with plenty of peaches and cream, wet stone with sweet oak spice notes throughout. There is a concentration without being heavy, rounded out by creaminess and mouth-filling character uplifted by a delicate acidity and Beamsville minerality. Will increase in detailed complexity over the next 3-4 years. Sells out quickly.
