This August, Toronto will host the 2012 Urban Agriculture Summit, featuring key note speaker Will Allen. FoodShare is one of the co-presenters of the summit, which is still open for registrations for any one interested in growing food in the city. I caught up with FoodShare Executive Director Debbie Field to ask her about this coming together of architects and city planners, farmers and growers and environmentalists for the video interview below, shot among the sunflowers and cornstalks in FoodShare’s very own community garden.
