Jamie and Malcolm get the story of Ranger Wine from Stephen Ranger…

Stephen Ranger built highly successful career in the auction business, including pioneering commercial wine auctions in Canada. Then, as the COVID pandemic began to sweep the world last year, he made a big move and started his boutique wine agency, Ranger Wine. Ranger Wine happens to be one of Good Food Revolution’s new Good Food Fighters, and Jamie and I decided to welcome him and his agency to GFR in true lockdown fashion by conduction the Zoom video interview below. In it we find out about Stephen’s ‘terroir driven wine and services’, get into his background in the auction world and discuss the bottle shop phenomenon and what it’s been like to launch a new wine business in the middle of a pandemic.
