Live and direct from his cave in Faugères, Languedoc, winemaker Frédéric Brouca takes us on a tour of his new releases.

This week I sit down for an in-depth tasting with Faugères winemaker Frédéric Brouca. It’s been around three years since we last spoke, and so it was marvellous to catch up and hear about the new wines that Nicholas Pearce is offering by Private Order (see below for details).

Where is Côte de Glou? Is it a new appellation near Gloutown? Unfortunately not, but it is even better. Côte de Glou is a state of mind metamorphosed into one of Frederic Brouca’s newest wines with no added sulfites, waiting to be uncorked and quench your thirst. Explore Brouca’s new releases and old favourites in this exclusive offer!

Many people consider Frederic Brouca’s natural Languedoc wines a breath of fresh air. Is it because of the unique schisty and rugged landscape of the Faugères wine region? Is it because of his unwavering vision of crafting raw and delicious ‘Vin Vivants’? Is it because he is a talented self-taught vigneron? The answer is all of the above.

Frederic Brouca’s wines are unfiltered with minimal sulfur added at bottling, a reflection of his commitment to reducing human intervention at all levels of grape-growing and winemaking, and are essential additions to your natural wine collection.

This is a winery-direct offer. Place your order before August 28. You will receive the Champ Pentus Blanc, Côte de Glou, and Samsò Seulle in 10-12 weeks, and the Frederic Brouca Vermouth in 3-4 weeks. Only a $50 deposit is required today, the balance will be invoiced on arrival.
