What with the holidays almost upon us, I thought it was the perfect time to publish a great little (cut down from 40 minutes!) interview with the extremely genial Sylvain Martinand, winemaker of Crémant de Bourgogne-producing house Bailly Lapierre.
Sylvain obviously loves talking about the wine he makes, and I was a willing and eager student as I’ll be honest and admit that my knowledge of Crémant de Bourgogne is reasonably limited.
We taste through the excellent Bailly Lapierre Réserve Brut Crémant de Bourgogne, currently available at the LCBO for a very reasonable $22.95.
