Sharing a few laughs (and wines) with Antonio from FitaPreta

Many years ago, when I first began recording audio podcasts, I spent a few hours with the late David Booth, Viticulturist with FitaPreta, Alentejo, Portugal. Upon hearing of his passing I was deeply saddened as we had gotten along famously upon the handful of occasions that we had crossed paths.

Recently, David’s partner in the winery, Winemaker Antonio Maçanita was in town, and so we arranged to sit down for a few glasses of wine to discuss what has been happening at the winery.

Antonio, like his business partner, has a superb sense of humour, and so, much wine was consumed tasted and tales were told.
