Winemaker Charlotte Horton shares her wines with Woodlot’s Jeff Connell.

A renaissance woman in so many ways, Charlotte Horton of Castello di Potentino was recently in town to speak at Terroir 2014 and spread the good word about her truly fascinating Tuscan wines.

Through tasting her wines I came to understand why she feels so strongly about her property and the Sangiovese, Pinot Noir, and Grenache wines that can be produced from its soils.

Charlotte’s journey from English literature student-come-journalist to producer of unique terroir-driven wines is a very interesting one indeed. Unfortunately her intriguing story comes in its abridged form for the purposes of this video interview.

Charlotte’s unmissable wines are available through The Vine Agency.
