This year, chef Donna Dooher assumed the role of Chair of the (all volunteer) board of directors of the Canadian Restaurant and Foodservices Association, commonly known by its acronym, the CFRA. The CFRA membership is composed of all manner of restaurants from fine dining independents like Dooher’s Mildred’s Temple Kitchen and fellow board member Vikram Vij’s Vij’s to big quick service chains like McDonald’s and Tim Horton’s. In the video below, Dooher explains what the CRFA does and which issues bring its diverse membership together.
