The delightful Cat Fairchild tells us about the wines of Failla, California.

I’ve been treated to some pretty amazing Californian Chardonnays over the past month or so, and I have been so impressed that I’m beginning to think that the Golden State is going through something of a renaissance when it comes to this often maligned varietal.

The other week we spoke with Liquid Farm’s Jeff Nelson about the beautiful wines he’s releasing from down in the Santa Rita Hills. This week sees the turn of Failla‘s Cat Fairchild who took us through a fascinating tasting of famed winemaker Ehren Jordan‘s wines, and was then kind enough to sit down for a short video interview about the winery and its wines.

Both the Chardonnay and the Pinot Noir that were recently available through the LCBO sold through, but other Failla wines are available through our friends at All The Right Grapes.
