Laura Calder, the New Brunswick born and raised, French trained and infused, and international TV star is back in the spotlight with her new book Dinner Chez Moi. Dinner chez Laura always means a table of friends, whether old or new (full disclosure: your correspondent is working towards turning the latter category into the former), and Dinner Chez Moi is a very personal and playful collection of recipes drawn from either friends and family or times she’s served them. Laura’s civilising mission, as ever, is simply to get people to enjoy themselves in the kitchen so they can enjoy their company around the table. I caught up with Laura Calder recently and persuaded her to sit down for this video interview at GFR’s ‘Gourmet  Studio’ at All The Best, where she signed a few books for good measure.
