Leaning Post logoJoin us as Leaning Post Winery takes over “Upstairs at The Berlin”.  The evening will start with an arrival reception and meet and greet from 6 – 7 p.m. which includes a welcome beverage, followed by our 4 course tasting menu prepared by Chef Jonathan Gushue and beverage pairings by Leaning Post Winery. This is a special night and we will also have Monforte Dairy’s Ruth Klahsen joining us. She will share her knowledge and passion for the craft, and most importantly her delicious cheese.

Guests will be seated at communal tables for maximum mingling!

Over the past thirteen years, Ilya Senchuk has created a reputation as one of Canada’s top young winemakers. After working for Niagara icons Daniel Lenko Estate Winery and Foreign Affair, Ilya and wife Nadia followed their dream to produce world class, terroir-driven wines from unique plots of land across Niagara. Housed in a restored 1850’s barn, Leaning Post Wines epioptomizes small-scale, artisanal winemaking, featuring Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Syrah, with a particular focus on single vineyard Pinot Noirs. Located at the beginning of the Niagara Wine Route in the town of Winona, the Senchuk Family provide visitors with a distinctive tasting experience.
