Robert Ketchin joins us from the northern end of the Beaver Valley, Ontario to tell us all about his winemaking endeavours at Georgian Hills Vineyards.

This week sees us sit down with Robert Ketchin in part one of a two-parter interview where he tells us about fulfilling his dreams of growing grapes and making wines up near the shores of Ontario’s Georgian Bay.

Working with both the hardier hybrids and vinifera (some shipped in from Niagara), over the years Robert and his partners have built an impressive operation at Georgian Hills Vineyards, so we felt it was time to hear the story of its inception and evolution.

As a huge fan of both the wines and ciders, it was fascinating to hear how Georgian Hills Vineyards came to be.

Look out for part two next week.
