Just the other week I was remembering back to years pre-COVID, and some of the marvellous times I have shared with friends in Austria. I was looking through some old pics on Google Photos and realised that I had not communicated with sommelier Simon Zimmerman for many a year.
I first met Simon on an educational trip to Kamptal and the Wachau way back in May/June of 2011, and looking back on those pictures I decided that I would track him down, have a catch up, and record an interview to see how the hospitality sector is surviving in his hometown of Oslo, Norway.
