Brewer Michel Marcoux at Quebec City’s Salon des Vins (and Salon des Bières it would appear!)

This week we sit down with the charismatic Michel Marcoux from Quebec’s La Barberie brewery for a natter about how he ended up making beer at La Barberie and gives his answer to the eternal question “which is better to match with food, beer or wine?” You can most probably guess which side of the fence Michel sits on!


Edinburgh-born/Toronto-based Sommelier, consultant, writer, judge and educator Jamie Drummond is the Director of Programs/Editor of Good Food Revolution… and after all that wine at the Salon des Vins, he was more than happy to find solace in a refreshing bière.
