2016 DOMAINE MURÉ RIESLING CALCAIRES JAUNES AOP ALSACE FRANCE
$23.95 | VINTAGES#: 12110 | 750 mL bottle
 | Certified Organic |
91pts Wine Enthusiast | 90pts Wine Spectator

Stone, smoke and baked apricot on the nose of this wine promise excitement. The slender palate enhances these notions with a textural backdrop and ripe stone-fruit core that are focused by ripe citrus. This wine is light, concentrated and juicy all the way to the dry finish. (WE)
Finely meshed, this subtle, light- to medium-bodied white weaves mouthwatering acidity with notes of Honey crisp apple, pickled ginger, star fruit and minerally smoke and stone that linger on the finish. Drink now through 2023. (WS)

2014 CHÂTEAU LA GUILBONNERIE BORDEAUX FRANCE
$15.95 | VINTAGES#: 11333 | 750 mL bottle |
90pts James Suckling

Intense smoky and blackberry aromas make this a bold, almost showy wine, but the ripe fruit carries the style without any problem. With a little more complexity this would rate even more highly. Drink now. Score – 90. (James Suckling, jamessuckling.com, Feb. 13, 2017)

CLASSICS

2000 ROCHE DE BELLENE LATRICIERES CHAMBERTIN GRAND CRU
$278.00 | VINTAGES#: 14689 | 750 mL bottle |
17pts Jancis Robinson

Latricieres-Chambertin is an 18.2 acre Grand Cru vineyard in Gevrey-Chambertin. The vineyard is just south of Chambertin, and it is essentially flat. There are 12 property owners within Latricieres-Chambertin, which has been farmed as a vineyard since the 16th century.
Medium intense smudgy ruby. Very light, almost bonbon nose. Rather harsh and chewy. Hint of animal and masses of tannin still.

2014 ROCHE DE BELLENE GEVREY CHAMBERTIN 1ER CRU LES CAZETIERS
$125.00 | VINTAGES#: 12506 | 750 mL bottle |
91pts Robert Parker

The 2014 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru les Cazetiers has a voluminous, fruit-forward bouquet with ample redcurrant and cranberry scents, though I find more clarity and terroir-expression offered by the Champeaux at this point. The palate is medium-bodied with fine, supple tannin – tart red cherry fruit and quite saline in the mouth, leading to a precise but quite persistent finish. This is a “serious” Cazetiers that will need a few months to lighten up. (Reviewed by Neal Martin for Robert Parker; 224, The Wine Advocate)
