AT VINTAGES

2017 DOMAINE AUTRAND CÔTES DU RHÔNE VILLAGES AOC
$15.95 | VINTAGES#: 200030 | 750 mL bottle
Sourced from vines averaging 40-45 years of age, this is a wine that’s all about balance. There’s plenty of fruit, spice, body and structure, but the balance is what really stands out here. Perfect for roast beef and grilled vegetables. (Vintages panel, June 2019)

(translated from the German): Light straw yellow. Open and aromatic on the nose, reminiscent of white roses and bananas, yellow peach, and litchi. Luscious and balanced on the palate, spreads with a fine melting sensation; a subtle creamy finish, good length. Score – 91. (falstaff.at, May 7, 2019)

CLASSICS

2016 TRISAETUM COAST RANGE ESTATE PINOT NOIR WILLAMETTE VALLEY AVA $65.00 | VINTAGES#: 546374 | 750 mL bottle

94pts Wine Spectator; 93pts Vinous
. Impressively built and expressive, with vibrant rose petal, black cherry and orange peel flavors that take on richness and depth toward polished tannins. Best after 2025. Score – 94. (Tim Fish, winespectator.com, Oct. 31, 2018)
An expansive bouquet evokes ripe dark berries, cherry pit, mocha, potpourri and exotic spices. Takes a brighter turn with air and offers juicy black raspberry and cherry cola flavors, along with suggestions of spicecake and candied flowers. Plush and seamless in texture, finishing with impressive energy, resonating spiciness, and subtle framing.

2015 DOMAINE MURÉ CLOS ST LANDELIN GRAND CRU RIESLING
$47.00 | VINTAGES#: 75929 | 750 mL bottle

97pts Wine Enthusiast.
The heady aromatic scent of fresh tangerine peel takes turns with the refreshing perfume of green Seville oranges. The palate takes these enticing aromas and bundles them into one arrow-like force of concentrated freshness. This is a high-wire act of piercing brightness and layered citrus aroma. This is like a self-generating well of freshness that convinces with its luminosity, raciness and rapier-like purity of citrus flavors. Everything is heightened: Fruit, dryness, freshness and vibrant verve. It is tempting but it would be a shame to drink this now. Keep this genie in its bottle for a while longer, if only to see what fascinating direction it takes. This is wondrous. Drink 2022-2037. Score – 97. 2015 MAISON ROCHE DE BELLENE PULIGNY-MONTRACHET LES FOLATIÈRES 1ER CRU
$145.00 | VINTAGES#: 12507 | 750 mL bottle

91pts Allan Meadows, Burghound
. A whiff of petrol can be found on the pretty and ever-so-mildly exotic aromas of both white and yellow orchard fruit that includes hints of wood and white flowers. I like the richness allied with verve and detail of the medium weight flavors that exude a subtle minerality on the delicious, vibrant and agreeably dry finale. While this is clearly a child of its vintage, it’s more vibrant than many 2015s and worth a look. Drink: 2022+. Outstanding. Score – 91. (Allen Meadows, burghound.com, June 15, 2018)
