The Case For Wine presents two unique wines from a Piedmont producer Pecchenino.

Holding a passport a little different from most top flight Pinot Noirs, The 2013 from producer Pecchenino in Dogliani, Piedmonte has been the talk of the town lately.

Grown in Piedmonte by Barolo specialist Orlando Pecchenino, the wine shows all the texture and finesse of the best Premier Cru Burgundy and the savoury herbal complexity of the greatest Oregon examples.

Like many  Piedmontese Growers, Orlando Pecchenino likes to spend as much time in Burgundy soaking up the knowledge and trading Barolo for Burgundy.
