We are extremely excited to announce our first of a series of Up Close & Personal ‘On the Road’ adventures. In the laid-back, non-formal, rip-roaring-good-time style of our Up Close & Personal restaurant sessions, we are hitting the road to visit some of our favourite Ontario vineyards that have inspired our love for wine and helped create the back-bone of our wine list.
Our first wine tour will take us to Lailey Vineyard where you will meet Derek Barnett, Lailey’s passionate winemaker who will give us a private tour followed by a tasting of their beautiful wines. We will then follow that up with the same experience at Pearl Morissette Estate where we will be very well taken care of by our former wine guru and mentor, the infamous Svetlana Atcheva.
After the Pearl Morissette tour and tasting we’ll stick around and all sit down together to an Ascari family-style dinner, prepared by our very own Chef John Sinopoli.
All you have to do is show up at Ascari at noon on Sunday, September 14th and we’ll take care of the rest.
