UK Winewriter Quentin Sadler relaxes with a glass of Languedoc white in the walled city of Carcassonne.

On a recent trip to Carcassonne, deep in the Languedoc, I had the pleasure of sharing many a glass of wine with a certain Mr. Quentin Sadler. It turned out that Quentin was not only jolly good company, but an accomplished Wine Writer, Wine Educator, Wine Consultant, and Mapmaker also.

With this in mind, I cajoled him onto the ramparts of the medieval fortress of Carcassonne, turned the video camera on him, and asked him a few questions about his impressions of the myriad wines of the region.
