If I am going to meet Jamie Drummond for lunch at Terroni, which is a fairly common occurrence, I will sometimes show-up a little early, get something to sip on while I dive into the latest edition of T Magazine, which is made by, and all is about, the community of people who work for or supply the family of restaurants. It’s put together by none other than Jessica Allen. Allen worked her way up from “coffee girl” to manager at Terroni, so when owner Cosimo Mammoliti was putting together a team to create the magazine he called on the Arts and Culture Assistant Editor at Maclean’s. When I interviewed Allen for my GFR series on working food writers, we shot the “extra” video below exclusively about T Magazine.
