by The Grange of Prince Edward, a ‘Certified Good Fighter

Over the winter, we at the winery were trying to decide what we could do to give our guests a truly unique local experience. We already had great estate grown and made wines. And we have a beautiful estate to enjoy them on, with our limestone patio and rustic laneways to walk and picturesque farmland to see. But we realised that with wine tasting around the bar is hard to get the full experience. The solution to the problem was simple: picnics! Why didn’t we think of this sooner? Our family has been having pictures on the farm for years! And this year we are so excited to be able to work with East& Main to make our picnics happen.

This is their philosophy: “Kimberly and David [of East & Main], want the memory of the best in local fare to bring you back to Prince Edward County. Their idea: provide luxury comfort food, but use fresh local ingredients with perfect service that never intrudes upon the camaraderie of good friends.”

With this in mind they were the perfect choice to work with for our picnics. With sections of rustic sandwiches, local pates and charcuterie, homemade humus with local veggies, farm-fresh salads and seasonal desserts these picnics will be a truly memorable prince Edward county experience.
