Noble Estates offers a trio of unique wines from Oregon, Sicily and Argentina.

NOBLE TO YOUR DOOR – GEMS FOR UNDER $30

This week we are mixing it up! We are bringing you 3 wines for under $30 that are real finds from Southern Italy, Argentina, and the USA. All come in cases of 12 and can be delivered directly to your home or office.

2013 Mouton Noir, “Horseshoes & Handgrenades” – $21.99
Mouton Noir was founded by former French Laundry and Per Se Sommelier André Hueston Mack. The wines are unique and distinctive garage wines, initially created for some of the New York’s best restaurants for whom Mack was a sommelier and now available nationwide.
Horseshoes & Handgrenades is fruit-driven, full-bodied complex red blend sourced from Southern Oregon and Red Mountain Washington. The rich, ripe, voluptuous fruit comes from Oregon Syrah with just enough Washington Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot to give it complexity and structure.

2014 Planeta, Cerasuolo di Vittoria DOCG – $25.99
The name of the only DOCG in Sicily comes from ‘Cerasa’, cherry in Sicilian dialect. It is produced from the indigenous varieties Nero d’Avola and Frappato. A unique wine, recognisable and unforgettable for its youthful flavours and aromas of cherry, strawberry and pomegranate. Aged 100% in stainless steel, this a perfect wine for the Pinot Noir lover that wants to try something different.

2014 Catena, Vista Flores Appellation Malbec – $24.99 – 92 points Tim Atkin
The Catenas are recognized for their pioneering role in high-altitude viticulture and in leading Argentina’s Malbec revolution. The Vista Flores vineyard is located at 3608 ft altitude with a mainly sandy soil. It is aged 85% French oak and 15% American oak for 12 months. This is a delicate and well balanced 100% Malbec .
