In France, Pompette refers to being in a blissful state.

In Toronto, Pompette refers to the exciting and vibrant new restaurant opening on College Street, run by an incredibly talented, classically French trained trio.

Chef Martine Bauer, Wine Director Jonathan Bauer, and Bar Director Maxime Hoerth have extensive international backgrounds in hospitality, and are thankfully now rooted in Toronto. In advance of their grand opening, they’re holding a special Father’s Day Gift POP UP market on Saturday, from 2-6pm.

In addition to their housemade jam, olives, terrine, pâté, fresh bread, vinaigrettes, gravlax, sweets, Zalto glassware, and ready-to-drink cocktails, they’ve invited Le Sommelier along to showcase a selection of 26 wines to sell by the bottle.

Come wish Bernard a happy Father’s Day, and stock up with these special restaurant-only wines, not found in LCBO stores.
