All The Best was in party mode this week! We were delighted to welcome back celebrated chef and valued friend, Vikram Vij, to join us for an exclusive pop-up dinner party. The dinner featured exquisitely spiced dishes from Chef Vij’s repertoire prepared by our executive chef, Nicole Rumball (with collaboration from the master himself), together with a selection of Vij’s healthful, delicious line of prepared foods.

Vij’s unique prepared curries, inspired by popular original recipes from Vij’s Restaurant, are available from the freezer at All The Best. They are made with loving care in a purpose-built kitchen in Surrey. B.C. Each distinctive curry-Punjabi Daal, Coconut & Ginger Green Beans, Curried Chickpeas, Black Chickpea & Ginger Curry and Saag & Paneer- is made using the cooking techniques and spices of authentic Indian cuisine. They offer the health benefits and good taste of a home-cooked meal with super ready-to-eat convenience. They are all vegetarian and gluten and dairy free.

Here is the menu for our Indian feast. Our guests gave the meal rave reviews…particularly the outrageously delicious fenugreek cream curry that coated the grilled lamb chops!

The meal was accompanied by a delicate Cave Spring 2010 ‘Beamsville Bench’ Reisling, and closed with a sumptuous Kulfi Ice Cream, custom-created for the occasion by Shelley Westgarth of Belly Ice Cream.
