How To Be A Bush Pilot is the creative non-fiction book of the season. Author Claudia Dey is better known as a playwright, novelist and poet, but she’s also an accomplished advice columnist for The Globe and Mail on the matter of, um, intimate relations. Dey’s attitude on sex-ed is whimsical, light-hearted and, more often than not, very funny. Bush Pilot’s sub-title is ‘A Field Guide To Getting Luckier’, and offers advice (often illustrated) to the XY chromosome set on how to… well, you know, get better at it, and get it back better. Who can argue with that… seriously?

I asked Ms. Dey how I might take advantage of Saint Valentine’s Feast Day cooking-wise to, um, you know… improve my position with the Mrs. in the video below…
