The tannin and raw power of the fruit push the finish on to eternity and set this wine up for easy aging if you can be so patient.
A member of the Cru Bourgeois since 2009, the 2015 Chateau Gémeillan is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and a dash of Cab Franc, giving great depth to this classic expression of Bordeaux. Black cherries, red plum, oak spice and smoky notes set this up to pair with red meat or richer white meats as well as semi-hard or lightly aged cheeses.
