Created by the Union of Côtes du Rhône winegrowers (fd. 1967), Cellier des Dauphins sources from 20 of the Cotes du Rhone Villages AOCs and the region’s most important crus; Châteauneuf-du-pape, Vacqueyras, Vinsobres and Cairanne, making wines of rich terroir and classic style.

Les Dauphins Côtes du Rhône Reserve Red – #385385 – $13.95

A reflection of the sun-drenched terroirs from which it hails, this blend of Grenache and Syrah boasts a seductively smooth structure and notes of baked red and black fruit. The palate is silky delivery of fruit, red liquorice and vanilla notes, with soft tannins and good length. A great aperitif or match for pizza, cheese plates, or brisket sandwiches.

Cellier des Dauphins Côtes du Rhône Reserve 2019 – #14081 – $16.95

Released next week, this Reserve displays a deep red hue with ruby tints and notes of sun-ripened black fruit on the nose. The palate offers a velvety texture and spicy notes underpinned by ripe black fruit, blackcurrants and black cherries combining structure, freshness and smooth tannins. It has a seductively elegant, intense and long-lingering finish and makes a great match for burgers and other grilled red meats, charcuterie boards, and aged cheeses.
