Bernard Sparr carries the name of the famous Alsace winery, Pierre Sparr, his family founded, which he also represents as a wine marketer. Based in Gatineau, across the river from Ottawa, Sparr covers the North America as marketing rep for wines from around the world. He has two Pierre Sparr wines about to be available in Ontario. First, the Pierre Sparr Brut Rosé Cremant d’Alsace ($19.95 – LCBO# 39016), which came into Vintages last month, and the Pierre Sparr Réserve Brut Crémant d’Alsace ($18.95 – LCBO# 388603), which comes into Vintages on July 25th.
