This week we sit down in the east end kitchen of Sara D’Amato, President of the Ontario chapter of the Canadian Association Of Professional Sommeliers AKA CAPS. As well as being an accomplished Sommelier and well-respected Wine Journalist, Sara also happens to be one of the most pleasant of ladies to spend an afternoon talking wine with.
Over a platter of delicious cheeses and cured meats (as well as a few glasses of Prosecco), Sara tells us about how CAPS has evolved since she was first involved with them, and where they stand as a professional organisation today on both the national and international stage.
