Winemaker Karim Mussi introduces his Alandes “Paradoux” white and red Bordeaux-inspired blends from his winery in La Consulta, Argentina.

 

This week sees us sit down for a virtual chat with none other than Karim Mussi, an absolutely fascinating fellow who makes a formidable range of wines under a number of labels throughout Argentina.

His Bodega Alandes “Paradoux” white and red are currently available through the LCBO, but in very limited quantities.

In this week’s episode we speak of his 22 years in winemaking, and how he began his winemaking journey in La Consulta in the Uco Valley.

In Part 2 Karim talks us through the two wines currently available in the Ontario market and gives us a tour of his Bodega Alandes winery.
