Way back in November of 2016, on my birthday as it happens, I was invited to a portfolio tasting of an wine agency that I had only heard of in passing. Despite having heard some glowing reviews of Mellecey Wine Group‘s wines, I had never actually had the opportunity to try any of them, bar a teeny taste of some truly excellent red Burgundy at a dinner party earlier that year.

That afternoon at The Spoke Club I was introduced to Mellecey’s Cyndi Grossman, and was immediately charmed by both her amiable, generous nature and the simply superb wines she was presenting.

Fast forward to May of 2017 and I am delighted to announce that Mellecy Wine Group have just joined us as a Good Food Fighter. With that in mind we thought what better to do to celebrate than film a short interview with Cyndi to discover the inspiration and motivation behind one of the most interesting (and laser-focused) wine agencies in town.
