Whilst in Emilia Romagna, Italy last month GFR’s Jamie Drummond had the opportunity to visit the Riserva storica dei Sangiovese di Romagna in Bertinoro and speak with Fattoria Zerbina Winemaker Cristina Geminiani.

In this interview she speaks about the history of Sangiovese in Romagna and just what makes these wines so different from their Tuscan counterparts over the mountains to the West.
