In celebration of World Tempranillo Day this week, I thought it would be fun to feature one of the excellent wines from Tandem in Navarra, Spain https://tandem.es/en/.

The Ars in Vitro – latin for ‘art in glass’ is a wine that expresses the freshness and power of the cool climate grapes from the Yerri Valley. A flavourful un-oaked Tempranillo with a touch of merlot – this wine is delicious, fresh, enjoyable, pleasant and ideal for any occasion. The aroma is intense and inviting and will lead you to enjoy the excellent expression of Tempranillo from the Navarra terroir.

Tempranillo is a red grape variety which forms the backbone of some of the finest wines from Spain and Portugal.

Tempranillo wines also pair well with so many dishes and especially at this time of year when we are turning to warmer dishes and longer slow cooking – I love this particular wine with homemade chilli and cornbread.
