With it having been over a decade since I last caught up in person with my highschool friend and fellow food writer Laura Millar, I felt that it would be a great idea to get in touch via the wonders of Zoom and discover what the Travel and Food Editor of the UK’s Metro newspaper had to say about the future of both the UK restaurant and the travel sectors in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Always a woman with strong, informed opinions, it was most enlightening (and, to be quite honest, rather concerning) to get her personal take on what’s happening over there.
