Chef Kennedy welcomes François Morissette of Pearl Morissette Estate Winery in Jordan, and Steph Purdy of Purdy Fisheries in Point Edward. Pearl Morissette is a relative newcomer and is producing excellent wines; Purdy’s is a family fishery that has been been fishing Lake Huron waters since 1900! Part of our ongoing Local Food Movement series, this is a communal dining experience where Chef Kennedy welcomes local artisans, producers, and winemakers to come to Gilead to share their stories, while guests enjoy a menu inspired by their product.
