Southbrook Vineyards’ Earth Hour Winemaker’s Dinner will help bring awareness to climate change next Saturday evening.

On March 28 from 7pm to 9pm, join Southbrook Vineyards as they turn off the lights and raise a glass to climate change awareness for their 2nd Annual Earth Hour Winemaker’s Dinner.  Come dine in Southbrook’s magnificent Great Room as you enjoy for an amazing three-course dinner curated by Chef Mario Pingue and his team at Niagara Food Specialties with wine pairings from Canada’s first Organic and Biodynamic winery.  Winemaker Brian Hamilton will be on hand to introduce each wine, and fill you in on the farming practices and low intervention winemaking behind each glass.  This event will be B.Y.O.C. (Bring Your Own Candle or other solar powered device), and Chef Mario will take advantage of that as he uses the lowest possible carbon footprint to source and prepare his local and sustainable menu.  This year, Southbrook teamed up with Nature Canada and a portion of the event’s proceeds will be go towards their efforts to rehabilitate the Monarch Butterfly population.

Tickets are $110 plus taxes and can be purchased by calling 1-888-581-1581, or by emailing at events@southbrook.com.  Get your tickets today, and join Southbrook Vineyards for a candle-lit night filled with great local food, drink and friends!
