Street Fight Comes to Wine Country

Street Fight - Smackdown in Grapetown

June 23rd’s Smackdown in Grapetown pits the best of Mill Street Beer against the best of 13th Street Wines in a battle of alcohol bevvie versus East Asian inspired foods.

Join 13th Street Winery’s Sommelier Peter Bodnar Rod and Mill Street Brewery’s Brewmaster Joel Manning as they square off in a battle of beer versus wine paired with fabulous East Asian inspired foods from El Gastronomo Vagabundo and Amaya Express. This will be the first time that Street Fight has been on the winery’s home turf and will be the fourth time street fight has taken place with the first two taking place in front of sold out crowds in Toronto at the Mill Street Brewpub. Next Thursday night, Street Fight will go on the road for the first time as it makes an appearance at the new Ottawa Mill Street Brewpub location just down from Parliament Hill on Wellington Street. This is event is almost sold out but tickets can still be reserved by calling 613-567-BEER.

The Niagara Street Fight will include live music, expert beer and wine judges and plenty of good food and drink for all. Tickets are $24.95 for admission (individual drink & food tickets can be purchased on site) or the package price of $89.95 for admission with the full meal (6 dishes) and beverage sampling (6 samples) included.
