Three New Rosés at the LCBO

Noble Estates presents three pink wines in time for Mother’s Day.

Mother’s Day is this weekend, and what better way to celebrate Mom than with a bottle of rosé? These three rosés in Vintages are sure to please any palate!

2016 Bottega Pinot Grigio Rosé – Veneto, Italy – $14.95
The harvest of the grapes is slightly delayed, to assure a ripeness quality. They are handpicked and vinified after a cold maceration that lasts 36 hours. This procedure, longer than the traditional one, grants a more intense color to the wine. A great refreshing wine for those who like something a bit off dry.

2016 izadi Larrosa Rosé – Rioja, Spain – $14.95
Made from 100% Grenache from old vines in Rioja, Spain. It comes from one of the highest altitudes, this wine has a peach and apple nose but finishes with biting acidity – great wine with food!

2016 Brancaia Rosé – Tuscany, Italy – $19.95
Vinified only from Merlot grapes and early harvested in the Maremma vineyards. It is left for 3 months on the lees. A very elegant, crisp and fruity rosé, it is perfect to sip during happy hour but it is also a nice match for a light meal.
