FRENCH LEGENDS MIXED CASE

$336.70/6-pack

Each Mixed Case includes 2 bottles of each wine.

2 bottles x Château de Montfaucon Comtesse Madeleine Lirac Blanc 2021 (Lirac, France)
A blend of Marsanne, Clairette, Grenache Blanc and Picpoul. A great example of how deliciously amazing Lirac can be.

2 bottles x Château de La Chaize Pouilly-Fuissé 2020 (Burgundy, France)
Pouilly-Fuissé lies in southern Burgundy’s Maconnais region and is produced only from Chardonnay grapes. Notes of citrus, iodine and flowers on the nose, while on the palate the wine is balances bright acidity and minerality with an ample body.

2 bottles x Claude Riffault La Noue Sancerre Pinot Noir 2021 (Sancerre, France)
La Noue is dark and mysterious. Morello cherries, black cherries and redcurrant. Behind this fruity-dark wall, there seems to be a linear, chalky framework. Riffault presents an elegant Pinot Noir with a lot of breed, juicy and animating to drink.

WINEMAKER’S TASTING WITH BODEGAS VIÑÁTIGO

Join us for a winemaker’s tasting at 7:30pm on Thursday, May 2nd at Bossanova (103 Roncesvalles Ave, Toronto) with Jorge Méndez from Bodegas Viñátigo.

The Canary Islands are a unique corner of the wine world, with stunning lunar landscapes, vertiginous slopes, volcanoes, high elevations and just about never-ending sunshine. Discover the volcanic wines of Tenerife with winemaker Jorge Mendez-Díaz from Viñátigo, one of the most important wineries on the island.

MORE ABOUT VIÑÁTIGO
Juan Jesús Méndez is a proud native of Tenerife and the fourth generation of winegrowers. Driven by passion and love for his homeland, he has overseen Bodegas Viñátigo for almost thirty-five years. He has been studying and recovering the almost-extinct grape varieties that were brought to the Canary Islands by European settlers since the 15th century. He has made Viñátigo a reference winery in the region.

Jorge Méndez is the new generation at the head of the winery. He is slowly taking over the viticulture and winemaking of Viñátigo, and focusing on crafting wines from exceptional micro-vineyards in the north-face of Tenerife. Before settling down in his home-island, Jorge worked alongside Marcelo Retamal in De Martino and Viñedos de Alcohuaz (Chile), Matías Riccitelli in Mendoza, and Pascal Clément in Burgundy.

Tickets are $60 (plus tax).
