We present you the opportunity to get the best of Côtes du Rhône: Matthieu Barret and Domaine Viret.

Organic, biodynamic and handcrafted wines with #nofilter.

Matthieu Barret

‘Great wines are made just from grapes. Grapes hold this ‘magic’, and we should not destroy it. Our winemaking is ‘flexible’, to let wine to do as it likes in order to express its soil and its vintage’, M.B.

2018 Petit Ours Brun Syrah, Côtes du Rhone $28.95
100% destemmed Syrah fermented and aged in concrete tanks. A wine merging the power of Southern Rhône and the elegance of Northern Rhône.

2018 Black Flag Syrah, Côtes du Rhone $33.95
IGP Ardèche. Aged in concrete eggs for a year. As Barret says: ‘an explosive juice’.

2017 Domaine du Coulet Brise Cailloux, AOC Cornas $74.95
Obtained from 50 micro-parcels in Cornas, where all the work is done by hand and with horsepower. Fermentation and ageing 50% in concrete eggs and 50% in oak.

2015 Domaine du Coulet Billes Noires, AOC Cornas $132.95
Plot selection from the top of the slopes aka ‘Creme de la creme’. 100% destemmed Syrah aged for two years in concrete eggs.

Domaine Viret

The creators of the Cosmoculture practice in Saint-Maurice a viticulture based on cosmo-telluric exchanges.

2018 Domaine Viret Solstice Red $22.95
Red blend of mediterranean and oceanic varieties: Mourvedre, Merlot, Cabernet-Sauvignon, Caladoc and Marselan. All fermented and aged for a year in stainless steel tanks.

2018 Domaine Viret Energie Red $24.95
Syrah, Muscat and Viognier fermented and aged for 10 months in stainless steel tanks.

2018 Domaine Viret Solstice White $29.95
Mediterranean blend including Vermentino and Marsanne from the high terraces of Aygues come together in a refreshing, dynamic and vivacious white wine. Fermented and aged for 8 months over its fine lees in stainless steel tanks.

2015 Domaine Viret Renaissance Red $31.95
65% Grenache, 25% Syrah, 5% Mourvèdre, 5% Carignan. Aged for 3 year in concrete tanks. Zero sulphur. A vibrant, fresh and alive wine with a terrific energy.

2017 Domaine Viret Horus White $37.95
Muscat, Aranel, Viognier, Grenache Gris and Vermentino on limestone soils, fermented for 6 months in amphora and stainless steel. Aged for a year in amphora.

2014 Domaine Viret Maréotis [*Shipping in 6-packs] $49.95
60% Grenache and 40% Syrah grown in clay-limestone soils at 300 masl. Fermented in concrete vats and aged in oak barrels for 4 years.
