Jack Bishop is the Editorial Director of America’s Test Kitchen, the innovative and independent food media company that publishes Cook’s Illustrated magazine and eponymously named television shows. He was in Toronto recently promoting ATK’s latest production, a comprehensive reference cookbook they call their Cooking School Cookbook. In the video below, Bishop explains the counter-intuitive way the Cooking School Cookbook came about and why, with its thousands of how-to photos, it’s different most other home cooking books.
