Last week, in anticipation of May 27th’s Toronto Taste, GFR talked to Second Harvest Ambassador and Über-Chef Mark McEwan (see the post and video here). While explaining the importance of Second Harvest’s work, and his enthusiasm for the event that pulls together just about every serious chef and crew in the city, McEwan mentioned his intention to kick a part of the body belonging to one of his former cooks: Rob Gentile, now the celebrated chef at Buca.
