Last month, I sat down for a virtual glass of wine and chatted with acclaimed South African winemaker Abrie Beeslaar of Kanonkop Wine Estate, Stellenbosch.

In Part One of this extended two-part interview, we talk about Kanonkop and its vineyards from a historical perspective, his personal story within the company, and the pride he feels for his work with the Pinotage grape.
